Jerry Nessen is the Principal of Nessen Consulting, an Atlanta-based management consulting practice serving entrepreneurial and corporate owned Printing Companies.

Dedicated to the printing industry for over 30 years, Jerry brings a very diverse and rich skill-set to his clients. He combines extensive hands-on craft experience, with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Printing Management. His experience includes 14 years in various middle management positions, at multiple facilities of two of the largest U.S. corporate-owned printing companies, where he received extensive training in business and financial management, marketing and quality assurance. He developed a reputation as a Change Agent Manager who could quickly identify and solve problems.

Since 1987, Jerry has focused most of his time on growing family or locally owned printing companies. As President, CEO
and General Manager of three multi-million dollar printing businesses, he used his proven problem solving techniques to eliminate all obstacles that could limit their growth and then applied his sales/marketing skills to move those companies to the next level. As part of a total-approach he has implemented new technology and developed marketplace demand for it. As a consultant and coach, Jerry has identified and eliminated communication problems between sales and production, aligned printing company capabilities to customer and marketplace needs, provided marketing direction and sales training support.

Jerry is a Past President of Printing Industries Association of San Diego, served on the Board of Printing Industries of California involved in legislative and environmental issues. He is a member of Printing Industries Association of Georgia, PIA of America and Graphic Arts Technical Foundation.
