We all tend to fight making changes even when we know they are good changes.

Intense competition, tighter delivery demands and changing technologies require Printers to always look for faster and more cost-effective production techniques.

While some Employees enjoy upgrading capabilities and making improvements, many others will feel uncomfortable or even threatened by changes in how they must do their jobs. Change is inevitable and must be embraced for a company to achieve long-term success.

As a trained Change-Agent Manager and Facilitator, Jerry knows how to get “employee buy-in” to the growth and profit improvement process. He works as a catalyst to facilitate “risk-free” communication. He quickly builds an environment of open communication and trust, where participants feel free to brainstorm ideas and shape solutions. He successfully breaks down barriers between departments and shifts to objectively evaluate how a change will affect every part of the organization.

And the best part comes when it is time to implement the solutions. Since the employees participated in the brainstorming, selecting and shaping processes, they actually look forward to making the changes and enjoying the benefits.

These are the steps Jerry normally uses to assure quick and effective improvements:

  1. Meet with Senior Management to establish Improvement Plan
  2. Involve Key Leaders to identify all areas they would like to improve
  3. Make sure that Senior Management and Key Leaders goals align
  4. Make sure a change in one Department flows properly to the next
  5. Jerry applies his knowledge of what works best to develop the Plan
  6. Jerry works with Senior Management to finalize the Plan
  7. Jerry communicates Plan to Key Leaders and gets their buy-in
  8. Jerry communicates Plan to all levels of organization as needed
  9. Jerry works with Key Leaders to implement improvement Plan
  10. Jerry monitors Plan implementation and assists as needed for success
  11. Client and Jerry evaluate success and determine next steps

“I initially hired Jerry to help our Sales Reps build new business. He got them past the typical dislike of cold calling and gave them the tools needed to succeed at prospecting. He also came up with some basic job flow changes that allowed the Sales Reps to spend more time selling and less time in the plant. Most recently, he evaluated our digital printing business and helped us make the right expansion decisions.”
